Live Oak 40th Anniversary Giveaway

 Official Rules


NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Live Oak 40th Anniversary Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes”) will take place during two separate 40th Anniversary Events: (i) at the Live Oak Construction Supply store location at 82 Columbia Drive, Pooler, Georgia from 12:00 pm ET until 2:00 pm ET on September 29, 2026  (the "Savannah Event”) and (ii) at the Live Oak Construction Supply store location at 4225 Steve Reynolds Blvd., Norcross, Georgia from 12:00 pm ET until 2:00 pm ET on November 5, 2026 (the "Norcross Event”). The Savannah Event and Norcross Event are collectively referred to as an "Event” or the "Sweepstakes Period”.


  1. To Enter:
    During the Sweepstakes Period:

    1. Attend either the Savannah Event or the Norcross Event and complete in full by hand the official entry form available at the Event to receive one (1) entry per Event attended, for a maximum of two (2) Attendance Entries during the Sweepstakes Period.

    2. To earn bonus entries

      1. Purchase a Live Oak 40th Anniversary hat at an Event to receive one (1) bonus entry for each hat purchased.

      2. Obtain an official Event punch card available at an Event, complete the required participant information, visit five (5) participating vendors in the showroom and ten (10) participating outdoor vendors, receive a punch from each participating vendor, and submit the completed punch card at the designated Live Oak registration tent to receive one (1) entry. Incomplete punch cards will not be accepted. Limit one (1) Vendor Punch Card Entry per participant during the Sweepstakes Period.

      3. Complete in full an official bonus entry form by hand, available at the store during an Event to receive one (1) bonus entry.


Limit fifty (50) total entries per person throughout the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of the method of entry. Providing invalid or incomplete information, submitting multiple entries beyond the stated limit, or otherwise failing to abide by these Official Rules will result in disqualification. 


Entries received at the Savannah Event will be eligible only for the Savannah Semi-Finalist Drawing. Entries received at the Norcross Event will be eligible only for the Norcross Semi-Finalist Drawing. Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be selected from each Event. The five (5) Savannah Semi-Finalists and five (5) Norcross Semi-Finalists will advance to the Grand Prize Drawing held at the Norcross Event.

  1. Drawings:
    The Semi-Finalist Drawings: Semi-Finalists will be selected via random drawings from among all eligible entries received by the deadline of the Sweepstakes Period at each Event. Five (5) Semi-Finalist winners will be drawn and announced at the end of the Savannah Event on September 29, 2026 from among all entries received at the Savannah Event, and five (5) Semi-Finalists will be drawn and announced at the end of the Norcross Event on November 5, 2026 from among all entries received at the Norcross Event.  Drawings will be conducted by Promosis, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. 


The Grand Prize Drawing: The Grand Prize drawing will take place at approximately 2:00 p.m. on November 5, 2026 at the Norcross Event. Semi-Finalists must be present at the Grand Prize drawing at the Norcross Event or they will forfeit the opportunity to be selected as the Grand Prize Winner. Semi-Finalists selected at the Savannah Event will be compensated for their travel expenses to the Norcross Event up to a maximum of $600. Potential Grand Prize winner will be drawn from among all Semi-Finalists present at the Grand Prize drawing and will be announced at the Norcross Event on November 5, 2026. Grand prize winner must be present for the winner announcement to be eligible to receive the Grand Prize; failure to do so will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

  1. Validation:  Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to upload a "selfie” photo and image of a government-issued photo ID, and may be required to sign and return, when requested, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release, as part of the verification process.  Any potential Grand Prize winner who fails to complete and return these documents within three days of the Norcross Event or is found to be ineligible will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining pool of Semi-Finalists from the original Grand Prize drawing.


  1. Prizes/Odds:
    One (1) Grand Prize: Winner's selection of either a vintage truck, 1986 GMC Jimmy, VIN 1G5EK18H4GF516814 or $15,000 cash awarded via ACH transaction. Approximate Retail Value of the truck=$30,000. In the event, Grand Prize Winner selects the cash prize, he/she will not receive the difference from the approximate retail value of the vintage retail.  Winner is responsible for tax, title and registration of the vehicle as well as any costs associated with transportation of vehicle. 

    Prizes may not be transferred or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part, except as outlined in the Grand Prize description Winners are solely responsible for any applicable additional taxes and fees on the value of the prize beyond what is included in the prize. Winner is solely responsible for expenses not listed herein, including all applicable federal, state, or local taxes on the value of the prize won, and will be issued, via email, an IRS 1099-MISC tax form for the value of the prize. Winner also grants to the Sponsor and its promotion partners the right without limitation to use the winner's name, picture, portrait or likeness, and voice in any future promotional material connected with this Sweepstakes in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation, where permitted, and that such use can be made without prior inspection or approval of the use of any copy used in connection with it. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event of a conflict or discrepancy between any messaging or communication regarding the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail. 


Odds of being selected as a Semi-Finalist are dependent upon the total number of entries received by the deadline of the Sweepstakes Period at each Event.  Odds of a Semi-Finalist being selected as the Grand Prize Winner are no less than 1:10, depending on the number of Semi-Finalists present at the Grand Prize drawing.

The Prize value indicated above reflects the Sponsor's honest estimate of its approximate retail value ("ARV”). Such valuation shall be considered final and conclusive, and will not be subject to challenge or appeal. In the event the actual value of the Prize at the time it is obtained or delivered is less than the stated ARV, the Winner will not be entitled to any compensation or award of the difference.


The Prize vehicle is awarded in its current, pre-owned condition and is provided "AS IS” without any express or implied warranties. Sponsor makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the appearance, safety, performance, or reliability of the vehicle or its equipment. The Winner acknowledges that the vehicle may have prior use, normal wear and tear, or other conditions that could affect its performance or longevity. The Winner assumes full responsibility for all inspections, licensing, registration, insurance, maintenance, and repairs required after delivery. Sponsor shall have no obligation to provide replacement parts, service, or repairs before or after delivery of the Prize.

  1. Eligibility:
    The Sweepstakes is open to lawful permanent residents of the state of Georgia or South Carolina, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not open to employees and their families (spouses, parents, children/siblings and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household) of Live Oak Construction Supply, their subsidiaries, affiliates, participating retailers, promotion partners, advertising and production agencies, and Promosis, Inc. By submitting an entry, participant consents to the use of his/her registration information in accordance with the Live Oak Construction Supply privacy policy. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, and email information to Promosis for winner notification purposes and for public winner disclosure as required by law. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law or regulation, and is subject to all applicable US federal, state, and local laws and regulations


  1. Limitation of Liability: Sponsor, Administrator, and their promotion partners and affiliates are not responsible for typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete registrations/entries or email; for technical, hardware, software, Internet, or telephone failures of any kind; for lost or unavailable network connections; for viruses; for failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions that may limit or interfere with a participant's ability to take part in the Sweepstakes; or for non-delivery of any prize due to factors beyond Sponsor's control, including lost, late, or misdirected deliveries or any delay or suspension of service that may affect prize delivery. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated entry devices are not valid and will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and seek prosecution of any entrant who disrupts or interferes with the proper play of the Sweepstakes, or acts in violation these Official Rules in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes, or corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Sweepstakes is canceled for any reason, including but not limited to those stated above, winners will be determined via random drawings from among all eligible entries received up to the time of cancellation. Sponsor and its promotion partners, related companies, agencies, and their respective employees or officers shall not be liable for injury, losses, damages, or costs of any kind resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes, or acceptance of or use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. 


By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant releases and holds harmless and agrees to indemnify Live Oak Construction Supply, Promosis, Inc., and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion partners, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, prize suppliers, including any vendors providing services, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates shareholders, officer, directors, agents, attorneys, representatives and employees (collectively, the "Released Entities”) in connection with this Sweepstakes and hold them harmless from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes, or arising out of participation in any Sweepstakes related or prize related activity, or the receipt, enjoyment, participation in, use or misuse, of any Sweepstakes or prize related activity, whether hosted by Live Oak Construction Supply or a third party. 


  1. Dispute Resolution:
    THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Massachusetts having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.


  1. Right to Cancel or Suspend Sweepstakes:  If for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, pandemics, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes, including to randomly select potential winners from among all valid non-suspect entries received prior to, or unaffected by, the problem.

For the name of the Grand Prize Winner, send a standard-size postcard, only, with your return address to:  Live Oak 40th Anniversary Giveaway Winners List, PO Box 38, Marblehead, MA  01945. Requests must be received by February 5, 2027. Do not send entries or other correspondence to this address.
